Robert Gilliard wins 2024 Cottrell SEED Award
This competitive prize supports members of the Cottrell Scholar community in high-impact research activities.
Robert J. Gilliard, the Novartis Associate Professor of Chemistry, is one of eleven chemistry researchers awarded the 2024 Cottrell Singular Exceptional Endeavors of Discovery (SEED) Award by the Research Corporation for Science Advancement (RSCA). This competitive award is designed to support the members of the Cottrell Scholar community (Cottrell Scholar and Holland Award recipients) as they launch high-impact research activities. Gilliard was awarded RSCA’s inaugural Robert Holland Jr. Award in 2023.
The Gilliard Lab is engaged in energy-relevant chemical synthesis at the interface of inorganic and organic chemistry that impacts the discovery of new chemical reagents and the design of redox-active and/or luminescent molecular materials.
